Hello everyone,
I am currently looking into which replacement parts for the Billy shelf can be reordered quickly and easily. I am especially interested in the availability of standard replacement parts such as boards, screws, or connectors, but also whether special parts that are needed less often can be delivered promptly.
Does anyone have experience with which components of the BILLY shelf are usually kept in stock or shipped within a short time? My goal is to be able to respond quickly to repairs or modifications without having to accept long waiting times for spare parts.

It's amazing how many people here actually reorder spare parts for BILLY! 🙂
I once had a case with a broken corner on the back panel, and I was able to order it quickly from IKEA. The delivery arrived within 3 days, even despite public holidays!
I think ordering spare parts works pretty smoothly if you start early enough. Just stay persistent and don't get discouraged, it works great! 🙂
