I have been searching the internet for days now but still can’t figure it out.

We are currently building. For the bathroom, we have chosen the Subway 2.0 series by Villeroy & Boch. We just need to get the shower enclosure ourselves.

Dimensions: 90x90cm (35x35 inches)

Can anyone recommend a good manufacturer?

It is important to me that the glass is 8mm (5/16 inch) thick and the height is 210cm (83 inches).

We have our shower enclosure, or shower screen, from Schulte. I am quite satisfied with the quality, but they only offer 6 mm (1/4 inch) glass.

Why do you need 8 mm (5/16 inch)?

Hello,

I would recommend taking a look at "Sprinz."

We have had one installed in our current apartment for 14 years and are very satisfied with it.

Best regards,

We hired a local glazier (after obtaining several quotes) and thus received high-quality custom glass and proper fittings (which are the expensive part). It wasn’t more expensive, and they also provided a guarantee on the installation.

A local glazier? Also interesting! I'll keep that in mind.

Why 8mm (0.3 inches)? I think it's simply a bit more stable and of higher quality. I found the feel when testing 8mm (0.3 inches) glass in the supermarket somehow better.

I have had very good experiences buying through a retailer (Name: "Glasdeals") on Amazon.de.
Half the price compared to a hardware store, delivery scheduled with an appointment directly to the correct room, and really good quality.
