Hello everyone,
I’m not even sure where to start 😀, so I’ll just ask openly here 🙂
Which providers are recommended and affordable for building a KfW 70 single-family home? (Southern Germany)
Is it even possible to build or have built a KfW house (4 rooms, about 120sqm (1300 sq ft)) with a basement for around 250,000 euros (including all additional costs, so that only the land and possibly new furniture would need to be added)? Flooring, painting, wallpapering, and other small tasks could be done by myself.

I think if I increase the budget to around 350,000 (which I didn’t really want to, but I guess I’m slowly facing reality), I could have a solid architect-built house too, right?
A coworker, whom I will see again next week, is currently building a 240m² (2,583 sq ft) two-story house with a full basement and a double garage (60m² / 646 sq ft), all solid construction designed by an architect, for 420,000 including the land (about 60,000).
If I scale that down to my size (120 to 140m² / 1,292 to 1,507 sq ft is enough for me), I should be able to manage a similar build with a basement and double garage within budget, at least that’s what I hope x.x
What do you think?

==> Not entirely impossible, but very cheap. Based on this forum’s experience, additional construction costs are likely missing (estimated at around 30,000 euros).
