Hello,

a new residential area is being developed in our village, and we have a good chance to choose a plot of land.
Which one would you choose?
There are fields around, and a country road on the right.
The plots that are crossed out are not an option; the others are each 550 sqm (5930 sq ft) in size.

Thank you very much

Development plan of a plot with color-coded zones, road layout, and buildings.

Yes, but less frequently. I work in the security industry!

P.S. Our timber is (hopefully) being delivered in May. If you don’t do everything yourself, don’t trust any man who says there’s nothing available. There is a company’s storage yard 3 km (1.9 miles) from us—I pass it every day, I even looked it up online 😀

Great, hopefully that’ll give you enough materials for a few years;)

But seriously, burglars mostly come during the day when no one is home.

Both times happen. There are all kinds of cases. That’s why I personally prefer living with attentive neighbors rather than out in the countryside 🙂

I would say 2, 1, 3, 4 in order of preference. If you want to approach a procurement process strategically, start with 1 first 😉

@ypg Hm... this is an issue that really doesn’t affect me at all. That’s probably because I come from a rural area where something like this didn’t exist. For example, I never used to lock my car (which still happens quite often today :p). Especially among my friends on farms, it was normal for people to come and go freely. The “front doors” were never locked there either. You could enter the living area of the farm at any time, day or night.

I am also quite careless in many things. For example, I don’t lock my car either. But you are shaped by your environment – around here there are highways everywhere, so thieves are not far off. But it’s up to everyone to decide for themselves. And not every property is a target anyway. Personally, I don’t mind a bit of attention from one or two nearby neighbors; I’d rather have neighbors than open fields, unless I happen to be looking out onto a multi-story building.
I just wanted to mention that. And the animals: yes, they can definitely eat a lot if there’s no fence. One, two, three, or four, it’s sure to be one of them 🙂
