Since pipes are currently being installed for another project, I want to proactively pull the appropriate electrical cable for 5 connected parking lot lights and 1 outdoor socket. I don’t have the lights yet, but they will likely be low-power fixtures to provide subtle illumination of the parking area. What type of electrical cable do I need for this? Suitable for outdoor use. Thanks in advance!

Depending on the length. If the wattage is low, then 1.5 is sufficient.

Up to 70m (230 feet)!

The total load should not exceed 1000 watts if it is to remain at 1.5.

We installed 5x2.5 mm² (5x0.0039 inch²) black underground cable of the same length.

1000 watts is not much. If you connect a kettle to that, it is already insufficient. Therefore, 2.5 mm² (approximately 3 AWG) cable.

The cable cross-section is sized according to the circuit breaker rating. So, usually 16A. Accordingly, for 70m (230 feet), the cross-section should be 6 mm² (9.3 AWG), and even if it is protected with only 6A, a 2.5 mm² (13 AWG) cable is required for the same length.
