if your plasterer is skilled,
apply Rotband, smooth it out, and brush in the texture using a brush, whisk broom, street broom, or something similar.
Make sure the plaster is neither too soft nor too hard while brushing.
First, create a 1m² (11 sq ft) sample area so you can see which technique gives you the best result.
Afterwards, paint it in your preferred color.
