frankmehlhop28 Sep 2020 19:12Hello,
I have a stove chimney with a flue pipe connection at the top.
The chimney is located against the wall, and the chimney stack is built in front of the wall to the left of the stove.
So, I need a flue pipe going upward, then a bend to the left, leading into the (side) chimney opening.
However, the opening in the chimney stack is only 3 cm (1 inch) from the wall, while the one on the stove is 11 cm (4.5 inches).
Which flue pipe component can I use to compensate for this slight offset (difference)?
Thanks for your suggestions and help!

Just a different question, since the wood stove looks quite old. Is it still approved for use?Well, this stove is still available on the market. So I assume it meets current regulations. The chimney sweep will need to inspect it again because the chimney was only added recently.Grundbuch schrieb:
I would still move the stove further away from the wall. Why? I want to place the stove in a space-saving way.Grundbuch schrieb:
Yes, the pipe needs an additional 45° bend.So it should be manageable with a multi-angle elbow, right?D
daniel1985ffo15 Oct 2020 09:19The stove needs to be positioned much further away from the wall on the left. At least 20 cm (8 inches) distance to non-combustible parts is required by regulations. Since you have a wooden floor, you also need to install a spark guard plate. It must extend at least 30 cm (12 inches) to the right and left, and 50 cm (20 inches) to the front.
