Dear forum members,

In 2016, we built a single-family house and at that time chose a front door with a motorized lock and fingerprint scanner (see photos). Our window and door supplier closed their business shortly after the construction phase was completed.

The fingerprint function works perfectly, but now we want to reconfigure it, meaning we want to program new users.

Unfortunately, I never received a user manual after installation, and searching online didn’t help either. The quote/invoice also does not list a manufacturer. I wanted to try my luck here. Does anyone recognize the brand or manufacturer from the pictures? Or can even provide a user manual? By the way, the LEDs light up only when pressing the upper part; otherwise, they remain off.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Have you taken a closer look at the page about the LEDs? On my stainless steel strip, the company name is printed.

Otherwise, try asking your local door manufacturer with your pictures.

Someone will probably recognize it even if it’s not labeled.

Do you at least know which manufacturer the door is from? Often, contractors simply supply the products from the door manufacturer and source everything ready-made from one provider. In that case, you could try researching there.

Unfortunately, there is no manufacturer name on the stainless steel strip. Apparently, there was once a paper label attached (adhesive residue still visible), but it is no longer there.
The door is from Schüco, so it might be worthwhile to contact the manufacturer. Good tip, thank you very much.

@guckuck2
Thank you as well.

Nevertheless, maybe a user can recognize the manufacturer, I would really appreciate that.
