Hello everyone,
I just bought my kitchen at IKEA yesterday, but without appliances.
Firstly, I’ve often heard that their appliances are not very good, and secondly, I thought 🙄 I could get them cheaper elsewhere!
So, I need an oven, a separate cooktop (not above the oven), a refrigerator (with a freezer compartment), and possibly a dishwasher!
How satisfied are you with your IKEA appliances, and which ones are the best?
I would really appreciate your opinions.
Best regards, Vronile 😉 😉

Maverick185410 Aug 2012 10:43There is no rule or one-size-fits-all answer about which appliance is best for me. It always comes down to individual needs and preferences. Some say that appliances from IKEA (Bauknecht/Whirlpool/Electrolux) are poor quality, while others say they are good.
Since there will be a change in IKEA’s electrical appliances, I would wait before deciding to be able to compare the newest generation of appliances with those from other manufacturers.
One thing not to forget is that IKEA offers a 5-year warranty on their appliances, and I find that to be a very strong argument.
Energy rating would be a criterion that is personally very important to me... Everything else, I believe, is a matter of taste.

Sektionschef10 Aug 2012 10:45Hello
I don’t have any appliances from Ikea, but I have heard from several sources that Ikea dishwashers are not recommended. I’m not sure why, though. On the other hand, Ikea appliances come with a 5-year warranty, which is usually not offered by other manufacturers.
Best regards

Artur_859910 Aug 2012 17:37I’m not sure if the Ikea appliances are good, but you can find branded appliances online at similar prices, sometimes cheaper, sometimes more expensive. Just try searching online. However, you need to compare properly, for example an oven with a pyrolytic cleaning function... induction cooktop...
