ᐅ What IP rating is recommended for garage electrical outlets?

Hello.
In our garage, standard electrical outlets were installed, the same as inside the house, so with a very low IP rating. Does anyone know if a higher IP rating is required in the garage (unheated/solid construction) and where this is regulated?

IP44 rating is more than sufficient.

DIN standards are not regulations.

In our case, the work was agreed upon to be carried out according to DIN standards and the recognized rules of technology.

Everything should be described in DIN VDE 0100-701:2008-10.
