As part of the electrical planning, we have decided on an intercom system with video functionality.
Our electrician offered us the following model for approximately €1,050:
- Legrand Lineo 200 metal surface-mounted video intercom
with Polyx Video Basic handsfree surface-mounted indoor station
Our neighbors have the same system and are very satisfied with it. However, we don’t like the outdoor unit. In our opinion, it looks too much like plastic.
Ideally, we would prefer something made of stainless steel, or at least a more visually appealing outdoor unit.
Which intercom system do you have or could you recommend?

Am I missing something?I can’t say off the top of my head. Maybe it’s really because it’s an "older" model. If in doubt, just order it and take a look (and install it if suitable).

chaosandi29 Sep 2014 22:44Have you installed more products from LeGrand? I am currently planning my entire home installation with them (light switches, roller shutters, heating, etc.) and I have to admit, I’m a bit cautious about the Italians and their technology :S
