ᐅ Which insulation material should I choose?

Hello,

I am currently building and trying to decide which insulation to use. It should not be excessively expensive. I am unsure whether to choose mineral wool or fiberglass, and whether to go for blown-in insulation or rigid board insulation.

Can someone help me? I’m a bit lost.

What exactly do you want to insulate?
The roof? If so: insulation between the rafters, insulation below the rafters...?

For which building component exactly? The roof?

What material or U-value was used in the thermal insulation calculation?

Oh right, I probably should have mentioned this earlier.
I want to insulate my exterior walls, and I've done some research, but everyone seems to have different opinions on what the best approach is.
I’m hoping to finally get a reasonable answer here 🙂

... and what is the wall construction? Double-layered?

Since you are already "in the process of building," why not simply check the documents from your architect?!
