Kalter.Kaffee29 Nov 2020 17:32Hello everyone,
Our rainwater cistern is going to be connected to a water pipe inside the house using a hose that will be routed through the multi-service house entry. A Grundfos pump will be installed in the cistern to pump the water.
What type of hose is recommended for this purpose? Are there certain materials that are especially suitable or completely unsuitable? Are there specific products designed for this?
I would appreciate any tips and experiences.

Use HDPE pipe.
Choose the diameter of your pump connection.
Do you want to use the water for toilets and similar purposes? Remember to include filters, etc.
It’s better to use the water for irrigation.
Double piping, filtration, and switching options with the required separation are quite complex.
You won’t save much in the long run that way...

I won’t be able to get a pipe through the house entry point. It has to be a hose. It will connect to a line inside the house that leads back outside at another location. Inside, there is a tap, for example, for watering.

The pipe is flexible to a certain extent.
With some lubricant and a heat gun, it becomes easier.
You should be able to easily pass a DN25 through an opening.
What type of opening do you have, and what is its size?
I can only advise against using a hose. That will cause problems in the long run.
