We plan to build a house next year in 33449 Langenberg. The plot of land is already secured.
So far, we have only received an offer from Viebrockhaus, which we liked very much. Now we would like to get additional offers and are looking for providers that offer similar services.
The house should be built using solid construction methods and preferably meet the KFW40+ standard, delivered ready for move-in.
Which providers should we consider?
Construction is planned to start next year.
I appreciate any advice.

BauBauNRW25 Nov 2020 19:44So far, I have only seen the construction service descriptions from Kelle and the red Splietker. In my opinion, they do not differ much.
With Kelle, I got the impression that they prefer to build KfW 55 standard homes, with underfloor heating in the basement. The red Splietker tends to go for KfW 40+ standard, with climate-controlled doors in the basement hallway, which apparently separates the space. (At least, this is how I understood it)

BauBauNRW28 Nov 2020 20:18We recently visited the blue Splietker as well, and I can only agree with the comments here. We also had a very good conversation there. In the end, I asked about the background of the two companies. Due to conflicts, a mason separated and apparently co-founded the other company, which is now the namesake. For us, the whole situation leaves a somewhat unpleasant impression, especially since a house we liked was built by Splietker (blue). However, pictures of that house were also displayed by the red company, and we were never corrected in our assumption that the house was not planned and built by that company. It seems that the mason worked on that project and had the right to take the pictures with him. Hence, there is a certain unpleasant aftertaste, particularly regarding the red Splietker.
Looking at the costs, the blue one is indeed quite a bit more expensive, as has already been mentioned here. We have not yet received a “proper” cost estimate from Kelle as a list, only verbal indications so far about roughly how much a house might cost.

Yes, yes, I’ve also heard rumors explaining the similarity between the Peugeot RCZ and Audi TT by a designer changing employers. Whether and how these similarly named companies are related, and if so, in what order of succession, seems to me of lesser importance. Hans and Friedrich Grohe both produce quite decent showers, end of story. To me, both Splietkers seem like reputable construction companies worth considering, even if one had polka dots and the other checkers instead of blue and red.
