Hello,
We are planning to completely renovate the ground floor apartment in a two-family house, which also includes a converted attic apartment.
Currently, heating is provided by oil. Warm air is distributed into the rooms through air ducts. Additionally, an electric heater is used for heating. Hot water is generated by an on-demand water heater.
The initial idea is to replace the open oil heating system with a wood stove or fireplace, which would also heat the other rooms via the air ducts. Additionally, electric underfloor heating would be installed in each room (floor coverings are tiles/laminate).

This is the first idea. However, I am looking for a knowledgeable advisor who can inform me about suitable heating systems, outlining their pros and cons, keeping the budget in mind, and answering all my questions. For example, whether laminate flooring is recommended for underfloor heating, etc. Under which keywords should I search online or locally in our town for a specialist?
Heating engineer, electrician, or similar — they all tend to focus only on their own area of expertise, and in my opinion, none can present different concepts and discuss them with me.

Thank you very much for any replies.
