Our single-family house has a Viessmann heat pump, model Vitocal 222-G. It is a ground-source heat pump with a capacity of 9.6 kW and a storage volume of 250 L (66 gallons).
To qualify for government subsidies, we now need a heat meter. Does anyone have experience with this and can tell me which type of heat meter we should use and what the device might cost approximately?
Thank you!

A heat meter costs about 300€; I cannot recommend any specific manufacturer or model, so it’s best to ask your installer for a recommended device. Check the technical specifications, as the unit might already have a heat meter installed.

Hello

For the sizing of the heat meter, you need the nominal flow rate and the minimum-maximum flow rates. This is how the heat meter can be determined.
The price starts at around 350 CHF.

Hello,

We have also purchased a heat meter, and ours is from the company Zenner. It cost 280 CHF and we bought it here in Switzerland.
