Hello,
we have purchased a newly built semi-detached house with 150 sqm (1,615 sq ft).
I wanted to ask which furniture stores in NRW you would recommend for us.
We want to renew or buy new furniture for the entire interior.
Which furniture stores can you recommend?
The furniture should meet the following criteria:
- good quality, "high-end"
- aesthetically pleasing
- durable
- easy to assemble (no drilling, just screwing together)
- prices should be affordable for an average budget
So, nothing cheap like Poco or Roller, but also not extremely expensive.

Strahleman7 Nov 2021 07:43By now, we basically only shop at Höffner and Segmüller – for one simple reason: Segmüller offers a lowest price guarantee (5% below competitor price) even on online deals. So we just take an online offer with us and point out the lowest price guarantee. That way, we bought chairs, a dining table, living room furniture, and a sofa of decent quality (including brands like Hartmann or Niehoff) at relatively good prices. For the dining table, the salesperson even mentioned that there was an even lower price online than the one we had.
We shop at Höffner because I get a discount through Corporate Benefits, and they also match the best price. This way, we get good prices, and paid significantly less for a solid wood media cabinet and a display cabinet than online (a difference of €400 (about $430) compared to the lowest online price). At Höffner, this place with those pseudo-“40%-off-only-today” sales, I especially enjoyed seeing the salesperson sweat a bit over the price.
You can often find the lowest prices for the guarantee at Porta (especially with their regular discount promotions), Ostmann, or Zurbrügge.

Does anyone know Main Möbel from Eltmann?Unfortunately not. They apparently don’t have what everyone else has. Their style is somewhat reminiscent of Depot (you’ve probably been there before).Similar topics
