Hello, which type of flooring is better suited for underfloor heating? Does anyone have experience?

In our research, we found that tiles work really well with underfloor heating. However, we are still choosing hardwood flooring for the living room, even though it isn’t quite as ideal as tiles. It’s simply for the cozy feeling! ;-)

We have underfloor heating with tiles, cork, and carpet, and all are equally suitable. It is also a matter of cost. Tiles tend to be quite cool to cold in summer and during transitional seasons, whereas cork and carpet are more comfortable.

Any carpet, actually starting from the mid-price range, is suitable for use on floors with underfloor heating.

This is indicated by a symbol in the product specifications at any specialized retailer.
