Greetings,

We are hopefully starting the construction of a carport soon. I want to prepare conduit pipes for photovoltaic cables in the gable roof. Which type of conduit pipe do you recommend?

2x M25

Alternatively, just use a suitably sized supply line into the house. You can also mount the inverter in the carport or outside.

or 1x M40

It is called plastic conduit pipe, at least M32. When installing, make sure to avoid 90-degree bends. In visible (roof) areas, use UV-resistant (which is black) material.

It depends on the system and the layout. Wiring requirements can vary quite a bit. Usually, the suggested thin conduit pipes are sufficient. If not, it was a mistake not to research the specifics beforehand.
