Hello everyone, I recently decided to design my living and working room with IKEA Platsa furniture in a wood finish. Now I am wondering which colors would best complement this wood look to create a coherent and modern atmosphere. My main goal is to find a combination that is not only harmonious but also timeless and not too colorful. Which wall colors, decorative elements, or accent colors would you recommend that work well with the natural wood tone of Platsa? Colors that are too bright and an excessive number of bold patterns are counterproductive. Similarly, rooms that are too dark can quickly feel tired when combined with dark wood finishes.

A common mistake is matching materials only by color, but not by texture. Wood finishes require textures and matte surfaces to complement them in order to avoid an artificial appearance.
