Hello everyone, I am currently planning to furnish my living room with IKEA Besta units. I have a question: which colors work well with IKEA Besta to create a harmonious and timeless overall look? I am especially interested in which wall colors, decorative elements, or flooring options complement the typical Besta colors like white, anthracite, or wood finishes. It would also be helpful to hear examples of whether bold colors like teal or pastel tones tend to work better, or if it's preferable to stick with more neutral shades. Advantage of Besta: I can combine almost everything with white, while anthracite works only with light walls. Pastel colors? Rather not, they tend to look busy quickly.

Wow, there are so many opinions here! For me, the Besta shelves are really flexible! I love experimenting with colorful accessories or wall paint – teal, orange, or a strong green just bring life into the space. You just have to be bold. 🙂

If you prefer a more understated look: cream white or soft gray tones are great and will give you plenty of options later on. Good luck with your interior design, I’m looking forward to seeing your color experiments!
