Hello everyone, I am currently planning to decorate my living room in a Scandinavian style and am using the Ikea Besta system as a TV and storage solution. My question is quite specific: which colors work well with Ikea Besta furniture to best emphasize this Scandinavian look? I’m especially interested in color combinations for walls, decor, and possibly textiles like cushions or rugs that are not too overpowering but still harmonious and modern. Are there any colors you particularly recommend to ensure the Besta doesn’t get “lost,” but instead the overall appearance remains cohesive with light wood, whites, and clean lines?

Great topic! I have Ikea Besta in white myself and I use soft blue tones combined with light wood floors. The colors look fresh and still give that typical Scandinavian feeling. Try adding some dusty rose shades for cushions or vases; it adds a bit of flair without ruining the style. Your interior will definitely turn out lovely!
