Hello everyone,
we are currently building our house. Next week, the insulation and underfloor heating will be installed, and the screed is scheduled to be poured shortly after.
We have a chimney in the house to eventually install a wood-burning stove. Since we have a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery, we need either an appliance that is room-air independent or a pressure sensor. Our electrician has already installed empty conduits for this purpose, which are located on the floor near the chimney.
At the moment, we have not planned for a stove yet, but the big question is: what should we do with these conduits? They will, of course, protrude from the screed, but should we also leave them protruding through the floor tiles and, for example, place a plant on them, or how is this usually handled?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions!
