Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Metod kitchen and am currently struggling with the assembly of the cabinets with drawers (Uschr 4 Fr/2 ni 2 haho Sch and Uschr 5 Fr/2 ni 3 haho Sch).
Here is the problem:
The bottom drawer doesn’t fit by about 2cm (1 inch). The instructions describe many different combinations for where to attach the drawer slides, but the exact two cabinets mentioned above are missing. I’ve already tried various combinations, including using the second row of holes on the slides, but I haven’t found a suitable setup. I’ve also adjusted the drawer height using the side screws. All without success…
Can anyone help me?
Best regards,
Bond007

Hello forum members,
I just can’t figure it out... where is the mistake?!?
Mount the rails in rows 15, 13, and 9 always in the upper holes
Row 1 in the lower holes
Even if I turned the front of the medium-sized drawer around, it still wouldn’t fit because the height of the front doesn’t fit between the large and the narrow one.
The narrow fronts are flush with the side; if you flipped them, they would stay that way, right?
Desperate greetings

Please check the manual again. On page 6, you can see that the bottom panel is installed as described on page 12, while all the panels above follow the steps on page 6.
Here is a picture showing how it looks for me. I don’t have 10mm (0.4 inch) panels, but the principle is the same:
Addendum: I’m not sure if the 10mm (0.4 inch) panels at the top and bottom are the same. If the spacing differs, follow the manual. You definitely placed the two brackets in the wrong holes—not the two at the bottom, but the ones at the top:

Hello Nörgli,
Exactly – your additional note was the ultimate tip – I had always installed the screws incorrectly on the upper drawers at part no. 126888 (this metal piece), putting both screws on the same side instead of one in front and one behind... how embarrassing... (I didn’t change the screws on the plastic part; that worked fine as it was)
Now everything fits and looks good!
THANK YOU and have a great turn of the year!
Best regards
