Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Metod kitchen and am currently struggling with the assembly of the cabinets with drawers (Uschr 4 Fr/2 ni 2 haho Sch and Uschr 5 Fr/2 ni 3 haho Sch).
Here is the problem:
The bottom drawer doesn’t fit by about 2cm (1 inch). The instructions describe many different combinations for where to attach the drawer slides, but the exact two cabinets mentioned above are missing. I’ve already tried various combinations, including using the second row of holes on the slides, but I haven’t found a suitable setup. I’ve also adjusted the drawer height using the side screws. All without success…
Can anyone help me?
Best regards,
Bond007

The only possibility I can think of at the moment is incorrect installation of the cabinet rails, specifically using the lower holes instead of the upper ones on the rail. (Only the lowest rails are attached using the lower holes.)

IKEA-Experte23 Apr 2015 20:07As I mentioned above, the rails are installed incorrectly.

The bottom drawer is mounted differently than the others, which is explained in the instructions. Additionally, it’s important to make sure each drawer front is installed the right way around. I would recommend first checking everything carefully for correctness.
There definitely has to be an assembly error, as there is always enough space for all parts with correct assembly.
