uwe72Hello,
for our upcoming single-family house construction, I removed the entire flooring package and want to install the flooring myself.
We are considering a cost-effective solution, so laminate flooring.
Where is the most affordable place to buy it?
Online?
I’m looking for something like reuter.de for bathrooms, but for laminate flooring...
Thanks,
Regards

If it’s supposed to be hazardous waste, you can get that stuff at the hardware store from 5€/m² (0.46 USD/ft²) upwards. What savings are you expecting there? As I said, significant shipping costs will be added on top.

Hello Uwe,
do you think this is the right approach? I would carefully consider the flooring options for your house. It’s understandable if you say something inexpensive is fine for the basement, but especially in the bedrooms and living areas? That’s like using €3 wall paint—really low quality. Of course, everyone has to decide for themselves.
If I were you, I would also visit a home improvement store. They often have promotions like 10% off the entire purchase, so I think you’ll find something suitable there. In my opinion, ordering such items online is not worth it at all.

DerBjoern3 Feb 2014 10:04Just try searching through Google’s shopping search engine. I also bought my flooring from a small shop. It was 7€ per square meter (7€ per square yard) cheaper than the local painter’s store, which made a significant difference for 115m² (1,237 square feet). And the delivery was even free of charge!
