Hello,
I hope this is the right forum, and maybe someone can advise me where to buy plastic pipes exactly like the ones described here?
To be honest, I don’t know the exact type of plastic the pipes are made of, but they should meet the following requirements:
- rigid pipe
- outer diameter 50 mm (2 inches)
- wall thickness 1.8 mm (less than 2 mm in any case)
- black color (without printing or embossing)
- length 1 to 2 meters (can be longer)
- no sockets at the ends (okay, these could be cut off if necessary)
- weight about 290 grams per meter

Since I already have a few of these pipes – see photos below – I know they exist, but unfortunately, despite searching online for hours (maybe using the wrong search terms?), I haven’t found any.
Thanks for your help!

Take a look at Wavin, Rehau, and Egeplast – all are plastic pipe manufacturers, but I cannot say whether they also sell to private customers.

Your local building materials supplier should be able to help with that, or the heating system installer you trust...

I have already checked Wavin. They do have a pipe with similar dimensions (Wavin SiTech DN50 drainage pipe), but unfortunately it is not black and has a significantly higher weight. As far as I could see, Rehau and Egeplast don’t offer anything like this in their product range.

That was of course my first thought as well, but unfortunately without success. That’s why I’m trying it here in a forum ;-)

Usually, the manufacturer and the certification or approval number are printed on every drain pipe.

Check carefully, as this information is often lowercase or only visible as an embossed marking on the plastic.
