Hello everyone,
I would like to hear about your experiences with the shipping or delivery of Pax wardrobes. Specifically, I am interested in topics such as the reliability of the transport, the quality of the packaging, whether the wardrobes arrived without damage, and how the delivery process was handled (for example, whether the delivery was made inside the home or only to the front door). I am especially curious if you can share any recommendations or warnings based on your experiences.
Since I am planning to order a Pax wardrobe myself, I want to gather as many opinions as possible to be better prepared beforehand. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I am particularly interested in whether you can offer recommendations or warnings based on your experiences. I would also add: plan extra time for unpacking and sorting the parts! At first, I seriously underestimated how long it can take to go through all the packages. However, I found the clear instructions and the numbered packages really helpful – it made the whole process much more relaxed.
And yes, a small tip: if you have a lot to carry, don’t hesitate to ask for a hand truck or similar tool – it really makes things a lot easier. 😉

It’s a bit tiring, but the assembly afterwards is the biggest challenge – so get your arms warmed up in advance 💪 Interesting point, but in my opinion, the issue with shipping is often underestimated. These freight companies deliver the parts lying flat on the floor, just placed there without protection, so minor damages are almost inevitable but difficult to claim.
I think Ikea could be much more professional in this respect, as the service otherwise completely fails.
So: check your insurance carefully; the money paid for shipping should cover not only delivery up to your doorstep but also quality in the handover process.
