ᐅ What installation methods are used for circulation pipes in newly built apartment buildings?

Hausi99Good day.
I would like to know about the different types of circulation pipe systems used in multi-family buildings.
From what I have gathered so far, in new construction of a multi-family building (3 floors), a circulation pipe system must be installed.
However, are there both a "simple, cost-effective" option and a "comfortable" option?
What is the difference between them?
Are there any regulations specifying which system must be installed?
Thank you very much.

To me, a circulation line is simply an additional pipe with a pump that returns the hot water back to the heating system.

To me, a circulation line is simply an additional pipe with a pump that returns the hot water to the heating system. The circulation line can optionally be equipped with balancing valves, among other things, or not. This allows for better regulation of the individual apartment branches.
