KeviniusHello,
What is typically used to waterproof masonry and, if applicable, the sides of the foundation slab in new construction against moist soil? Our garage will be backfilled with soil up to about half the height on two sides. Is black bitumen still commonly used for this purpose? Applied by painting or as a torch-on membrane? Or are there better alternatives available nowadays?
