Good morning everyone, I’m currently trying to assemble my IKEA Brimnes wardrobe and keep running into assembly issues that make fitting parts together difficult or cause instability. What tips do you have for avoiding or fixing common mistakes when assembling the BRIMNES wardrobe? I’m especially interested in how you handle misaligned drill holes or uneven gaps, as well as advice for achieving better fit and alignment of the doors and drawers. Any help is appreciated, as I want to finish the wardrobe fairly quickly without having to take everything apart multiple times.

I often wonder whether IKEA materials, especially wood-based panels, are optimized for modular systems like Brimnes. Mistakes during assembly are often caused by imprecise components. A tip: avoid applying pressure to the parts while screwing them together, as this can distort the shape and cause the screw holes to no longer align properly.
Assembling with good music playing in the background can work wonders and help prevent frustration! Seriously: I like to lay out all the parts within arm’s reach and take my time for short breaks to avoid mistakes. Additionally, a well-lit room is extremely helpful for identifying the correct drilling points.

A common mistake is mixing up the side panels when assembling. That's what I feared—I probably swapped two boards. Thanks for the tip about checking the drilling pattern on a flat surface. Does anyone use specific markings or techniques before screwing to avoid such mix-ups?
