And of course, wearing your own gloves helps when handling the heavy wood parts. They’re not an absolute must, but since the surfaces can sometimes be a bit rough, they’re definitely useful.
I assembled the Hemnes wardrobe last year. Just a quick reminder: the screws for the back panel are often very smooth, so it sometimes helps to apply a bit more pressure and use the right screwdriver, otherwise the screw just keeps slipping. Also, be careful not to fit the back panel crookedly, or the wardrobe will wobble later on.
