Hello dear house building forum community,
We are currently considering how large our shower should be. It will definitely be a tiled shower. Initially, we planned for 120cm x 90cm (47 inches x 35 inches). Now we are thinking about going for 120cm x 120cm (47 inches x 47 inches), as we would prefer a larger shower. Are there any experiences, suggestions, or criticism regarding the shower size?
The bathroom is 2.88m x 3.72m (9.4 ft x 12.2 ft) in size.

Definitely no bathtub, at my age I prefer to take showers 🙂 New knee, back issues, etc. We sold the old house and built a small bungalow 🙂 an older-style one, 13 x 9 meters (43 x 30 feet). We are about to build a medium-sized bungalow (13.5 m x 13.5 m (44 x 44 feet)) so we won’t have to move again 🙂

For showering itself, less length would also be enough. The width of 90cm (35 inches) is really good; I wouldn’t want to go any smaller there. I don’t have a bathtub.
