Hello,
We have two very small bathrooms (1.50 x 1.50 m (4.9 x 4.9 ft) and 2.00 x 1.06 m (6.6 x 3.5 ft)) and would like to plaster them starting from 1.20 meters (3.9 ft) high. Tiles will be installed in the shower area and below that height.

Since both bathrooms have no windows or other forms of ventilation, we are concerned about the risk of mold forming quickly. How can we prevent this? Which plaster should we use, and do we need to treat the walls specially and/or use special paint?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Lime or clay plaster can help regulate moisture to some extent. After a hot shower, ventilation will be necessary in these small rooms to prevent long-term moisture damage. Properly sized and installed, this is the mold protection you need.

These are really small bathrooms. That’s exactly what I’m looking for. Could you share some floor plans or pictures?
