We are currently renovating the exterior of our older house, including painting and similar work.
Our concrete roof shingles are 24 years old.
The construction company said that roof cleaning wouldn’t hurt.
Is this really necessary?
After cleaning, does the roof need to be primed and coated with roof paint?
Is the company just trying to increase their sales, or does it make sense?
I would appreciate any advice,
Anita
