have you already installed the flooring, or are you still in the planning stage (I might have missed it, sorry if this was already answered)?
We also have vinyl flooring and had the screed around the fireplace lowered by 2cm (1 inch). This allowed us to recess the glass plate and avoid having a threshold.
Underneath is the standard vinyl.

Alessandro23 Nov 2021 13:35Would it fit if you extend the fire table around the combustion chamber by 50cm (20 inches)? Then you can completely avoid using a spark guard.
