ᐅ What is a realistic price for a satellite system including installation?

Hello everyone,

I would like to get a rough idea of what to expect when installing a satellite dish system.
It will probably be an Astro 85cm (33 inches) dish, just for Astra. A splitter for up to 16 receivers.
Basically, the dish should be mounted, aligned, and the cable routed through the roof, since the splitter will be located in the attic under the roof.
A roof flashing or something similar will also be needed.

What have your experiences or quotes been?
I will handle running the cables from the splitter to the receivers myself.

Are we looking at a total cost of around 500 €, 1500 €, or even more?
I don’t really have a sense for this yet.

Best regards,
Tito

If it doesn’t have to be Bauhaus, how about Fuba? It’s kind of a middle ground.

There’s a version with an 85cm (33 inches) dish, an 8-way multiswitch, and 2 quad LNBFs for around 200–300 euros.
Plus, the outlets for about 10–14 euros.

A proper rafter mount costs about 70 euros.

And a rail for the potentiometer adjustment.

I’ve aligned it to Astra and Hotbird and have never had a failure regardless of snow conditions.

Kathrein is too expensive for me, especially since the receivers have gotten worse lately—better to go with a Vu+ instead.

You don’t need a receiver anymore. Our TV is from August 2013 and already has one built in. Karsten

Well, not all receivers are the same.

Investing in a VU+ is definitely a good choice. It's more than just a basic SAT receiver.

I use Vuplus, and it really adds value. Once you start using it, you won’t want to use anything else.

What is the added value compared to a standard triple tuner found in today’s TVs?
