Hello everyone, I am considering using sliding glass doors from Pax for my new living area and would like to hear about your experiences. I am especially interested in aspects such as the build quality, the smoothness of operation, ease of installation, and of course, everyday practicality regarding maintenance and durability.
Who has experience with Pax glass doors, both positive and negative? Are there any special considerations to be aware of before purchasing? I look forward to your feedback, as I want to plan this investment carefully.

The track system is precise, but it’s important to carefully review the instructions, especially about height adjustment.
As for smoothness of operation, this largely depends on the correct installation of the rollers. Sometimes applying a small amount of lubricant to the tracks can help reduce slight creaking.
Concerning everyday practicality: glass fronts are easy to maintain but tend to show dust and fingerprints quickly, requiring regular cleaning. I also recommend checking the door mechanism once a year and blowing out the tracks to ensure everything runs smoothly.

If you’re interested, I can also share some tips for installation.I’m interested in that as well. Are there any special tricks to keep in mind when installing glass Pax sliding doors yourself? I’m fairly handy but would like to avoid unnecessary mistakes.
Also, I’m curious if anyone has long-term experience with the tracks. Does the material hold up well after several years? Thanks in advance!
