Hello everyone,
We have been living in our house for a few months now. However, the wardrobe area is still a makeshift puzzle. I would really like something custom here. We have plenty of space (approximately 2 meters (6.5 feet) wide and about 4.5 meters (15 feet) long), so many options are possible.
I would love to hear from you what you consider essential for a successful wardrobe area and what might have been a disappointment. Two adults and two toddlers.
Pictures and ideas, even somewhat unconventional ones, are very welcome 🙂
Thank you very much

That won’t work because of the different widths.
But I don’t think Metod is of higher quality than Pax.It is of higher quality, has a better grid and different depths. In addition, there is a wider variety of fronts, etc.A

@allstar83 .. it would probably be more polite and productive if you shared your ideas here as well. After all, there aren’t that many options, and why should everyone write the same things again if you already have one idea. Also, it helps to get an impression of how you think. And a photo of the entrance situation wouldn’t hurt either.I deliberately didn’t want to impose my ideas ... sorry if that wasn’t clear.M

Depths of 60 to 58 and 38 to 35 centimeters (24 to 23 inches and 15 to 14 inches) are negligible for wardrobes. The fronts definitely differ, but the interior system of Pax is more ingenious for organizing clothes and shoes.
As I already mentioned: individual pieces of furniture! Built-in and hidden, like @AMNE3IA, is not possible—it would look intentional but poorly executed.
I’m also not a fan of typical Ikea hacks.
It stays with: a nice dresser for storage, scarves and stuff, jackets and shoes under the stairs.
A bench or stool in front of the window, a robot vacuum under the dresser, a table lamp instead of an LED light on top, and a small runner somewhere. You’re probably referring to this kind of furnishing as a
