I can’t say anything about that. First, we need to wait and see what stops working as usual.

That worked out really well. *facepalm*

Yeah. The very first and most important rule of communication, whether internally with colleagues or externally with business partners, clients, etc., is:

Never make promises you cannot keep.
It is better to set a later date and meet it than to postpone multiple times or let agreed appointments/times pass without any explanation.

Is the operator even still active?

The website looks extremely basic for a company in their line of business... Traffic is also quite low...

Well, I guess a closer look will be necessary...

What do you think about the new housebuilding forum design?

This is the worst update I have ever seen. I come from software development (although not web) and would never have allowed something like this. The only explanation I can think of is that a hacker was involved and everything had to be completely rebuilt from scratch in a very short time. At least the database with the thread content still seems to be there. But as a registered user, I want to continue reading where I left off. The system currently does not seem to offer any way to continue reading newer posts after the last one I read in a thread. Until that is fixed, I can only say: unusable.
The visual design looks quite good, but the core functions should have been tested first in a beta or test version before releasing the update to the public. Even then, there are usually still some bugs, but here you can only speak of dysfunction in some areas.
Let’s wait and see how many users this will cost. Since I am not currently building and only read out of interest, I can wait and check back in a few weeks. It would be a shame for the users’ content, which is the main asset of any forum, to be lost. But let’s hope the admins manage to fix things quickly or pull the emergency brake and temporarily revert to the old version (if that is even still possible).

Users have never been listened to here; it is only about generating clicks, nothing more.

The problem is: THIS way, there won’t be any clicks either...
