Hello everyone, I recently got a Pax and I’m currently a bit stuck because the manual isn’t very clear. I find the information on proper preheating and cleaning especially confusing, as the descriptions are very brief and seem to assume some terms that I don’t fully understand.
What is the best approach when the Pax manual is so unclear or incomplete? Are there any proven methods to safely and effectively use the device anyway? I want to avoid mistakes but also don’t want to spend ages searching. Thanks for your tips!

If the instructions are unclear, it often helps to focus on the key points: preheat until the device indicates it is ready, and always clean the parts immediately after use. If anything remains unclear, simply try it out directly on the device without taking too many risks. This way, you quickly learn what works.

My advice: if you’re unsure, you can follow these basic rules:
- For preheating: wait for the device to show a blinking color or the corresponding signal; then it is ready to use.
- It’s also important to clean the mouthpiece and heating chamber regularly to avoid loss of flavor and blockages.
If a term is unclear, you can ask specifically in this forum or in FAQ sections. Many users here are happy to explain such terms or offer practical tips.
The key is to stay relaxed – you’ll get the hang of it quickly!

Are there proven ways to still use the device safely and effectively?Hey, don’t worry – sometimes these manuals can be really hard to understand! My tip is to take a playful approach, as if you’re exploring a new gadget. Start with small test runs, try different things, and compare the results.
- Preheating: Watch for when the LED changes or the display indicates that the Pax is ready.
- Cleaning: A brush and some rubbing alcohol usually work well, even if the manual doesn’t explain it in detail.
This way, you avoid frustration and can gradually figure out what works best. And if the manual doesn’t help at all, forums like this one are the perfect place to find support!

This way, you avoid the most common mistakes, even if the manual is rather brief.
