Hello,
which came first, the chicken or the egg?
How is the following issue usually handled in construction?

I have pre-wall frames that I will enclose with drywall. According to the energy consultant, the base plaster should be applied to the walls beforehand to avoid problems later during the blower door test.
Now, if I hire the plasterers, they will plaster everything, but if I have rough-in installations for water and so on, those need to be installed before the plasterers come.
Does the plumbing company usually come in multiple stages? First preparing the piping and later installing the pre-wall frames?
What is common practice? Thanks, regards

Haha. You’re going to get a lot of answers to this now. I’ll give you a simple and practical solution.

Basically, there needs to be plaster behind a drywall installation. But you brought up the problem.

Just do it yourself: go to the hardware store, mix the material, and apply it. You don’t even have to make it perfect—no one will see it. Then have everything installed and build the wall. Only then does the professional plasterer come in.
