I can confirm that, but it raises the question for me how much the minimalism is really the cause. In my opinion, it is more the inconsistent naming of parts and the lack of visualization that make assembly more difficult.

That also applies to my experience. You need to work precisely, because if the drill holes do not line up exactly or are slightly offset, the final result will be unstable or there will be stress in the material, which could be problematic in the long run.

Furthermore, I think that for a system intended to be modular and durable, the material quality and the strength of the connectors could still be improved. The use of some very thin particle boards increases the risk of errors when drilling and screwing.
