Hello everyone,
Certain spots on the exterior masonry of our house are consistently damp. Recently, these wet areas have also become visible on the inside walls. They do dry out during extended dry periods but always reappear when it is humid or rainy. The flat roof is already insulated and fully covered, with only the parapet still missing. I’m not sure whether the issue is related to the roof or the masonry. Do you have any advice on what might be causing this?
We plan to start with the exterior rendering soon, but I believe action is needed before that.
I appreciate any feedback or tips.
Best regards,
Michael

The parapet cover has not been installed yet but is planned to be done soon.
Currently, the screed inside is drying, and there is scaffolding up again.
When I was at the house today, I noticed many water droplets on the ceiling exactly where the outside also shows wet spots.
I am worried that the filled concrete block might be developing mold. What do you think?

Please consult an expert, preferably from the IHK list... for a question like this, you won’t have to pay much and you will get a qualified opinion... I wouldn’t just cover it with a sheet metal without knowing what’s going on. It won’t be solved simply by adding a sheet metal...

I’m concerned that the hollow block might be developing mold. What do you think? What has come of this? Have you consulted a building expert?
