Hello everyone,
can I connect the well to the house in addition to the garden irrigation? What do I need for this?
Thanks in advance for the answer.

Hi Renif,
Of course, that is possible, and you just need to connect a pump. It should be installed right next to the well. However, it depends on where the well is located. Then, of course, you also need to consider the pipe routing.

Hello,
Of course, why shouldn’t it be possible? The only question is what you want to use the water for. Using it for flushing and for the toilet shouldn’t be a problem. However, you still need to comply with local drinking water regulations, especially if this wastewater goes into the sewer system.

Hi,

If I were you, I would have the well water tested. You want to make sure there are no toxins that could also be harmful for dishwashing. The water quality needs to be good here.

Of course, you will need a pump and the appropriate water pipes.

Best regards

That’s a good idea to check the water. For human use, the water must be clean and free of toxins. It doesn’t matter whether the water is used for flushing the toilet, the washing machine, or for the garden.

This is where the drinking water regulations come into effect. It is not that simple to connect directly to the house. The water must meet drinking water quality standards, which is often not achieved with a well.
