I’m new to the forum. While searching for information about building a house, I came across this forum.
We are considering whether to build. After looking at an older house, we decided to go with building. We have also ruled out a prefabricated house and are now focusing on solid construction.
We already had an initial conversation with the company Helma (NRW). During this talk, the topic of roller shutters came up (which I personally consider standard). I was quite surprised that they are not included in the offer. I don’t yet know how much extra they will cost. But now I’m worried that I might be overlooking other things that I take for granted. Are there any checklists available for beginners like me?
My next question is about the heating system. Helma normally installs a gas condensing boiler with solar support. Another company offers an air-to-water heat pump as standard. On the internet, these heat pumps are either highly praised or heavily criticized. In our current apartment, we have a simple gas boiler with an instantaneous water heater and are satisfied with it.
I’m sure I will have more questions to come…

These two posts were the first results that appeared for me using the search function. However, if Carsten explores other threads here, the requested provider will be discussed in several topics, and many of the questions he still has on his mind will likely already be answered. Therefore, the links cannot be considered “meaningless.”

Have you actually clicked on the (meaningless) links you provided? The first one has zero relevance, and the second is two years old.
