Hello everyone,

I hope I’m in the right subforum here. I moved into a new semi-detached house two weeks ago. Since Tuesday, I’ve noticed that the pipes running from the bathroom on the first floor to the utility room are dripping. It usually drips in the morning when I’m getting ready for work, using the shower, toilet, and sink. The amount of water is always about the same, around 10-20ml (0.3-0.7 fl oz). So, very little. But I’m a bit confused because it’s always the same amount of water, no matter how much water flows through the pipes. The rest of the day, nothing happens. That means if I use the toilet or flush it five times (for testing), there’s no dripping. So far, I haven’t been able to detect any pattern. It’s unclear whether it’s coming from the toilet, sink, or shower, or a combination of all.

Could it possibly be condensation?

The picture shows the pipes where the drip lands on the bidet.

Maybe someone has an idea what this could be.

Thanks in advance.

Good luck

Report the damage to your building insurance; it will most likely cover water damage. Then a leak detector will come and find your leak.
I don’t think it’s condensation...
