Hello,

I have noticed for some time that water is accumulating in the frames of some windows; this happens with almost all windows except the floor-to-ceiling ones.

Could you maybe tell me where the water is coming from? My theory is that the windows are not completely sealed from the inside, allowing warm air to escape outside. The window installer claims they adjusted all the windows, but many windows still catch or stick to some extent.

Do you have trickle ventilators in the window rebates?

Please do not post any links.

But yes, this is the kind of thing I mean.
In my opinion, it would be explainable because warm, humid air can flow into the cool frame and condense there.

Hmm, what else could it be? The indoor humidity is not really high, around 45% at 20°C (68°F).

In my opinion, it comes from outside. The drainage openings in the frame are clearly visible in the photos. To my knowledge, these water accumulations are normal; we also experience them after heavy rain (driving rain).

The question, however, is how the water gets in there. If it were due to heavy rain, the seal would not be properly seated against the frame.
