Hi,
is it possible to fit this washing machine

into a similar

cabinet, so that a refrigerator could be placed on top and the washing machine below?
The same question applies to this cabinet

could you fit an oven, a microwave AND a dishwasher from IKEA in the lower section?
My new kitchen is unfortunately quite narrow and the washing machine has to be in the kitchen because of the only water connection. However, if it were possible to arrange all these appliances inside two tall cabinets, that would help me a lot.

IKEA-Experte6 Sep 2015 11:33I think Robi’s plan with the counter at the end looks nice because it shortens the narrow, corridor-like room. Overall, it is a more traditional kitchen and less design-focused. Sometimes you have to decide whether design or functionality is more important to you.
The upper cabinets in front of the window are less about providing enough light and more about the visual impact on the room.
The installation of the washing machine inside the cabinet shown on Küche-muenchen is not possible with IKEA. It is a special cabinet, probably a custom-made piece. You can tell it is wider than 60 cm (24 inches) by the side overlap of the cabinet door on the fridge door. With dedicated kitchen manufacturers, you can get almost anything, but it comes at a price.
The IKEA kitchen planner now works with Chrome on Linux as well, but it is so slow and buggy that it is practically unusable. It might be similar on OS X?

Where is the freezer actually in your picture? I only see a refrigerator on top of the washing machine and an 80cm (31.5 inches) base cabinet next to the sink... Are you referring to my picture?
Yes, I thought you’d use a fridge with one of those small freezer compartments at the top. I’m not really the type to freeze a lot, just some herbs and maybe a fish fillet or so.
That’s why I’m still considering which model to choose if I go with the Smeg option—a really tall one with a freezer compartment underneath, just to have the fridge at working height, or a shorter 1.50m (59 inches) model because it’s about 500 euros cheaper, looks cool, and would also give me enough space... hmm...
Have a look, I came up with something for the right side:
I think if you divide the cabinet like this, adding a shelf in the middle where you can practically see through, it could work without feeling too cramped.

IKEA-Experte6 Sep 2015 18:41The right side is visually not such a problem anyway, because the wall does not end right at the window. The issue was that you said it would be too tight. Only you can decide if you need a large freezer unit. Robi’s washing machine isn’t much more expensive than IKEA’s.
That’s true, the sloped ceiling makes it less of an issue. Still, the door opens and you might end up standing right in front of a cabinet since the door is all the way to the right on the wall, not centered. :/
I’m still struggling to decide whether I should go ahead with my dream of a black kitchen in this room. While it would definitely look cool in principle, the question is whether it might feel overwhelming in that space.
Also, for example with Robi’s washing machine, I couldn’t figure out from the datasheet exactly how long the hose is allowed to be. I’d need it to be about 3 meters (10 feet) long to position it all the way on the far right.
