Hello everyone,

Attached is a section of our wardrobe area. Would you arrange the furniture as shown in the drawing, or would you prefer to rotate it 90° and place a larger closet only against the back wall?

The dimensions are 2.51 meters (8 feet 3 inches) by 1.76 meters (5 feet 9 inches).

2.51 m (8 ft 3 in) is an awkward measurement. After the interior plaster, only 2.45 m (8 ft) remain, and a 2.50 m (8 ft 2 in) wide wardrobe no longer fits. Otherwise, I would have placed it on the left side without a visible clothes rail.

Best regards,
Sabine

Hmm, but I think a 2.50m (8 feet 2 inches) wardrobe would be too bulky for me anyway. That’s more than twice the size of my current Pax wardrobe.

I would place the wardrobe against the exterior wall and a bench with a clothes rail and shoe rack against the interior wall. Something a bit more open than just wardrobes.

Does anyone else have an idea?

Of course. If you can’t decide, use both. 🙂
Corner cabinet plus tall cabinets on both sides; bench seating in front – with a wall shelf and hooks above.

Unfortunately, my software doesn’t include corner cabinets for furnishing, so it’s only indicated by a line:
